So, there is a lot of good stuff in this article and some of my favourite bits are when he talks about women having powerful, visual (yes! Please don’t die of shock – you can carry on thinking women achieve satisfaction in life by knitting baby socks if it makes you feel better ;) sex drives and also the bits where he talks about the pressures on a man to achieve material wealth/success in the same way that women often feel they must try to be beautiful/sexy all the time. Cos when you think about it, it’s just absurd. And after reading this article, I felt more comfortable and confident in my secret urge to just not give a damn about beauty and ‘success’. Neither of those things are going to necessarily make anyone’s life rewarding, are they? Unless that person really does only care about that particular thing, I suppose. And that would mean putting a lot of mental effort into being as shallow as possible! I guess I hope that more and more young people these days will grow up aspiring to be fulfilled in whatever way feels right, rather than worrying about meeting all these external guidelines for what ‘being a good person’ is. Although, considering the tedium and oppressiveness of education these days – don’t even get me started on that rant!

Right, I feel I ought to copy & paste some super-cheesy erotic literature here now to make up for all those boring words above that are not ‘fanny’ or ‘thick shaft’. ;D Hahaha, it’s impossible to write those without literally giggling. Go on – try it now!

Anyway – I recommend the article cos it’s rather sharply insightful, and certainly made me think.

I just wanted to give a quick update today to any who’ve been trying to look at my site using an older version of IE (anything pre-IE9) – I’m so sorry about my lack of cross-browser testing and I promise not to do it again. ;)

You should be able to actually read my site now. To be honest, the thing I’m most sorry about is A) people having to use Internet Explorer (in this day and age?!), and B) people thinking I’m silly enough to have purposefully put white & pink text against a bright white & pink flower background!

I managed to rub my two braincells together this morning and implement a quick fix, though; I’ll look into fancier stuffs if I get time over the next few weeks. Thank you for your patience!

I hope everyone had a brilliant Halloween and Bonfire Night – I haven’t been up to anything too exciting since I’m studying very hard this term and, as always, have a gazillion projects that I’m working on when I’m not flopped on the floor in exhaustion! It’s all very enjoyable and very much worth it, though.

I did get one chance to go out and put my belief that girls should chase boys, rather than leaving all the chasing to them, into practice – but that’s a hilarious story that I couldn’t possibly share here. ;) There was much wild dancing and – shock horror! – sensible water-drinking so I’m also glad to report that you definitely don’t need to drink much to have a great night. Not if you have almost no inhibitions already, anyway!

That’s enough about me for now. My week ahead is looking super-busy (my advanced booking preferential rate – see earlier blogpost – has gone down a treat!) but, as always, feel free to check out my availability and drop me an email if there’s a time we both have free.

Men are amazingly different to each other, but not that different to women, because women are also amazingly different to each other.

Common lore (Cosmo? Ask Men? Other horrendous things that should just not exist?) might try to suggest that men (and women) are all the same as each other in order to make it easy to list “10 Bedroom Tricks That Will Turn Him/Her Into A Rabid Lovebunny!” – and clearly, a long and insightful essay here about how the real differences between men and women are actually differences between individuals and isn’t it glorious how diverse and extraordinary the human race is etc etc would simply not fit, or attract many readers. But in my experience, things like “enjoying sex a lot” and “having lots of emotions” and “needing intimacy” and “liking it up the bum” can pretty much apply to anyone, believe it or not. ;) It’s ever so annoying but I’ve just had to drop the generalisations about men and women – and it’s all worth it in the end, I promise! As soon as you start looking at people as individuals, you start seeing how incredibly interesting we all are.

Not to mention the most important conclusion of all: some men love their nipples or balls being played with and some absolutely hate it! Many, of course, lie somewhere in the middle and feel merely apathetic about nipples/balls. So ladies, please: next time Cosmo tells you to give those testes a tug, remember to ask the guy first – or at least keep an eye on him to see whether his reaction is more “yay” than “OMG ow ow ow”!

Will write more on this next post. Not because I need more time to think of wise things that I have learned or anything, honest. ;)
